Effective 3 August 2026, Stefan Reiter will assume responsibility as Technical Director of J. Häuslschmid GmbH. Long-serving Technical Director Hans Wembacher will end his work with the company on 31 July 2026. With this personnel change, the company is setting the course for future-oriented development while combining continuity and innovation.

Stefan Reiter has been with the company for nearly six years and, in recent years, has already been closely involved in key technical and organisational matters as Deputy Technical Director. With his extensive practical experience, technical expertise and close cooperation with production, he has established himself as a dependable leader. He is looking forward to this new chapter at the company and to the responsibilities it brings. Looking back, he feels that the company prepared him very well for this new position. Thanks to the specialist knowledge he acquired and the support of the entire team, he feels well equipped to fulfil his responsibilities as Technical Director.

Hans Wembacher looks back with pride on almost five decades with the company. His professional career began almost 50 years ago as the first apprentice in production, at that time under the leadership of company founder Johann Häuslschmid. This close connection shaped his entire career and has remained a key foundation of his work to this day. His work always focused on reliability, technical expertise, a deep understanding of operational processes and the further development of production. At the same time, he never lost sight of employees as people. Under his shared responsibility, numerous technical and organisational decisions were made that have had a lasting impact on J. Häuslschmid GmbH.

Hans Wembacher also extends his thanks to the company’s long-standing suppliers and customers, with whom he has been able to work in a relationship of trust and partnership for many years. He expresses the hope that this established trust and close cooperation will continue beyond his departure.
